This is the second photo in my series of photos from Flickr which I absolutely love. This one is by another very talented photographer She Escobar. When I first saw this image I immediately thought of Sebastião Salgado.
I love the tones, the veiled mountains in the distance the mountain road winding through the hills. The clouds add a sense of drama to the image.
The tones go from darkness to light as we pass through this image following the road which could perhaps be a metaphor for a life journey or maybe I’m overthinking it! I would perhaps have been tempted to lift the shadows a bit on the foreground but then this illusion would be lost. Overall I think this is an amazing image from an amazing photographer.
